NCIS Orchestra

The Orchestra program at NCIS is offered to 4^th and 5^th grade students. Classes are held at NCIS twice a week before school October – May.

The NCIS Orchestras will participate in three concerts during the school year – Winter Concert, All District Strings Concert, and Spring Concert.
 

4^th Grade Orchestra

Parents and students will begin receiving information about the fourth grade orchestra program in mid-September.Mrs. Wolf will visit the general music classrooms throughout the end of September into October to demonstrate all string instruments and answer student questions about the program. Typically have eighth grade orchestra students perform a recruitment concert at NCIS in the middle of October.

A parent meeting will be offered mid-October to answer any questions before fourth grade orchestra classes officially begin at the end of October.

5^th Grade Orchestra

Students in 5^th grade may join the NCIS Orchestra even if they did not participate during 4^th grade.
